All of our tours include a culturally competent guide, who will highlight historical and cultural landmarks and facts on each tour.
Each tour includes upto 5 stops at community-based landmarks or current establishments to acknowledge and value the continued resilience and endurance of local community members, culture bearers and organizations.
Each tour generally includes some type of refreshment including lunch and a beverage, (*for abbreviated tours of 90 minutes, refreshments do not include a snack or beverage) with some additional snack options available for purchase.
Depending on the tour, your booking will also include entrance fees if applicable.
*Not included on the tour: alcoholic beverages, additional purchases, souvenirs. or other personal interest products
There are a few ways, depending on YOUR group.
If you group is less than 15 people, please book ONE tour online here to reserve your desired tour date. We will follow up with an invoice for the remaining balance.
If you have a conference or other large group (15+ people), please contact us directly and we will arrange payment via invoice. With this size group, we provide tailored options to customize certain aspects of your experience, so we will be happy to connect you with one of our tour specialists to create your group experience.
Once you book via deposit, the remaining balance is due 48 hours (for small groups) or 1 week (for groups 15+) before the start of your tour. If we do not receive the remaining balance, your tour may be subject to cancellation with forfeiture of your deposit.
Before finalizing your tour, you will be required to fill out a waiver form, for the protection of your group and our small business.
We are a small business that pays a premium to our local vendors in advance of your scheduled tour. For that reason, for our general tours, we will refund your funds (minus your deposit) with 7 days advanced notice from the time of your scheduled tour.
For larger groups (15+ participants) we are happy to refund a portion of your deposit (minus any fees associated with administration or deposits made to community partners) with 14 days advanced notice from the time of your scheduled tour.
For any cancellations outside of that time frame, we are happy to transfer your ticket to another participant or to another date, upon availability and discretion of our team. In most cases, any cancellations outside of this window will be non-refundable, and may incur additional fees to cover the cost of payments made to local vendors on behalf of the scheduled tour group. *
We are happy to provide group discounts to groups of 15 participants or more. We are also happy to provide a discount to local educational groups originating within the Greater Bay Area. Please consult with our team for discounts before booking.
